For Tally users
Tally is excellent at keeping books, but it does not follow up with your customers. The outstanding report tells you who owes money; somebody still has to call, message and chase every party, every week.
MilegaPay connects to Tally through a small program on the computer where Tally runs. Every 15 minutes it brings across new and changed sales bills and receipts, so every customer balance in MilegaPay matches Tally. Reminders then go out automatically, based on the bill-wise due dates.
What you get
Syncs every 15 minutes
New bills, receipts and edits in Tally reach MilegaPay on their own. No exports, no copying.
Edits and deletions followed
If you change an amount or delete a voucher in Tally, MilegaPay updates the same record, and flags anything unusual for you to look at.
Receipts written back
When a customer pays online, the receipt is created in Tally for you, against the right bills.
Runs quietly in the background
The connector runs as a scheduled task, without windows popping up, and light syncs keep the load on Tally low.
Transport details from Tally
Dispatch details from the voucher — transporter, LR number, destination, vehicle — can be sent to the customer automatically.
Month-end credit understood
For parties whose credit runs from the month end, due dates from Tally are moved to count from the 1st of the next month.
Common questions
Does Tally need to stay open?
Yes. The connector talks to Tally on the same computer, so Tally needs to be open with the company loaded when it runs. Anything missed is picked up on the next run.
Will it change my books?
Only in one way: it adds receipt vouchers for payments collected online through MilegaPay. It never edits or deletes your own entries.
Does it work with TallyPrime?
Yes, the connector is built and tested for TallyPrime.
Does MilegaPay create GST invoices?
No. You keep raising bills in Tally. MilegaPay handles what happens after the bill: tracking, reminding and collecting.
